ARIETES MARMONT Resort is gelegen in Vysoké Tatry, op 12 km van Štrbské Pleso, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Geweldige locatie. Ideaal om de hoge Tatra verder te ontdekken met de auto (parkeerkosten tot 10€ in strbske Pleso) of per trein (1€ per rit). Het hotel is nieuw. Wij sliepen in de chalet-bijbouw die net was geopend. Het appartement biedt alle nodige comfort, wordt dagelijks gepoetst en heeft heerlijke bedden. Het eten is heel lekker. Buffet is beperkt, maar supervers en op de juiste temperatuur. Het zwembad is ideaal voor de kinderen terwijl je als ouder in de jacuzzi ontspant. Kortom, geweldig! Wij komen nog eens terug.

Hotel HORIZONT RESORT is in the village of Stará Lesná, only 2 km from Tatranská Lomnica the ski area. Very nice hotel,friendly staff and good spa . Recommend!

APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica heeft 4 sterren en ligt in het hart van de hoge Tatra-bergen in Štrbské Pleso, het hoogst gelegen dorp van het Tatra-gebergte. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een fijn hotel om tot rust te komen na een lange hike door de bergen.

The modern Panorama Resort hotel is located directly at Štrbské Pleso. A wellness area with Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas can be found on the ground floor just behind the reception. Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom ligt in het hart van het Tatra-gebergte, op 1670 meter boven zeeniveau. Het biedt elegante kamers met uitzicht op de bergen, een flatscreen-tv en een minibar. A magical stay surrounded by mountains, forests, a lake and a stream. We enjoyed the view from the window and the spa in every weather. At least 4 different nature trails start from the hotel door and they're all nice. Instead of googling "Tatras best hikes", just start walking in any direction from Velické Pleso and you won't regret it. Generous buffet at breakfast and dinner and delicious food and drinks for lunch. If you read negative reviews about the "tourist restaurant", note that that's the backpackers hut. The hotel restaurant is only available to hotel guests and the lunch options are delicious. We were told you can also ask for packed lunch for the hike, but it wasn't possible because we hadn't ordered it in advance. A free-of-charge spacious private spa by reservation with saunas and a beautiful view. You can send your luggage from their lower parking lot at the Tatranská Polianka railway station by their van and hike to the hotel. You can even leave it in a storage unit for them to pick up, you just need to coordinate in advance.

Situated within 200 metres from the lake in Strbske Pleso in the High Tatras, this hotel offers a wellness area with an indoor swimming pool. The Railway Station is nearby. Very close to the train station, excellent location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s not as luxury as the hotels next to the lake, but for the facilities and services it offers a fair price. I definitely would recommend it.
