They really thought of the little things, like providing paper towels, vinegar, olive oil, salt—everything you need in the kitchen. There was even tea and coffee waiting for us! As we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary, they surprised us with a sweet and thoughtful gesture when we arrived. It actually brought tears to my eyes—it was so touching to feel that they had gone the extra mile to make our stay special. We love cooking, so it was perfect for us. We could buy fresh local products, bring them back, and enjoy meals outside at a lovely table with a sea view. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. We absolutely recommend staying here and truly hope to return someday!

The property was incredible - ocean views in the front and mountain views in the back. A short walk down the road to an incredible vineyard. The hot tub was a perfect way to end our day and the decor was incredible. We had everything we needed and more.

I enjoyed the interactions with the animals, especially the donkeys & cat. Owner is very kind & gave me a lift to the ferry. Welcome basket, including some homemade jam. Rooms are light & airy with views to the sea (& São Jorge island on a clear day). The village & shops are just a short distance down the hill & there are swimming places nearby.

Het designhotel Pocinhobay ligt aan een kleine baai op het eiland Pico in de Azoren en beschikt over individueel ingerichte kamers met uitzicht op het eiland Faial. We stayed 3 nights and absolutely adored the place. Fantastically located and so close to nature, this place seems part of nature itself. Hosts were amazing and made our Pico experience very special. I’m positive we’ll be back next year

Pico Terramar & SPA in Areia Larga heeft een 4-sterrenaccommodatie met een terras. De accommodatie biedt een restaurant en heeft ook een gedeelde lounge, een hot tub en een hamam. Fijn hotel op een prima plek. De kamers zijn zeer ruim en het balkonnetje met zeezicht was leuk. We waren hier maar een dag maar voor dat doel is dit een prima en comfortabel hotel. Ook het ontbijt was erg lekker en uitgebreid.
