We had dinner at the hotel restaurant both nights. Elevated Portuguese cuisine well prepared and served. Excellent wine list and the servers are able to suggest the perfect pairing for your meal. Nelas is a small quiet town about an hour’s drive to the Serra da Estrela. Perfect place to stay to relax and enjoy nature. Lovely staff.

At the bed and breakfast, units include a wardrobe. Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, and a private bathroom with a hot tub and a hair dryer. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The accommodation is located in a peaceful area with a beautiful and calming atmosphere. The owners and staff were extremely kind and helpful. Even our beagle girl Moly was warmly welcomed and felt right at home. We were expecting a high standard, but we were blown away by how clean and beautifully furnished our tent was – including the bathroom! The entire property felt very well-kept and serene. We spent the evening in the jacuzzi, enjoying a stunning view of the mountains – an unforgettable moment. Don’t forget to take a walk around the area and visit the lovely little mini-zoo – it adds a special charm to the whole place. We didn’t try the restaurant this time, but we’ll definitely come back and make up for it. Thank you. Everything was perfect!

And while still running, it was a very quiet location. Our bed was comfortable and our room had direct access to the outdoors, which was great for our elderly dog. The breakfast was varied, with options for my lactose free needs and the Bacalhao a Bras for dinner was amazing. Close to Aveiro and Costa Nova, both worth a visit.

De Viseu rooms have parquet floors and modern furnishings. They are air-conditioned and feature a minibar, electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms feature spacious furnished balconies with panoramic city views. We were given a room upgrade on arrival which was appreciated, but all aspects of the stay were excellent, well done!

The elegant guestrooms of the Praia D´El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort includes a bath with selected bathroom amenities, TVs with cable reception and air-conditioning. They are classically furnished with a spacious living area. From their private balconies or terraces they either offer views of the ocean or of the golf course. Everything. Staff was super friendly and indoor pool was nice because the weather wasnt that warm.
