So lovely to be given fresh vegetables, bread and milk, and even fresh carrot juice! Also loved the farm tour given by Jodi while we there, which enabled us to learn more about regenerative practices. Both Tanya and Jodi were so generous with their time, and lent me a bodyboard and flippers for a swim too. Recommending this to all our friends!

The Old Eltham Post Office-Luxury B&B Sth Taranaki NZ ligt op 18 km van Tawhiti Museum, en biedt accommodatie in Eltham met toegang tot een hot tub. Location was good for us as it is only a few minutes from the Mt Egmont National Park where we went hiking. Eltham is an interesting old village, one of the first dairying places in NZ with many old buildings and antique shops. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing breakfast and dinner as we arrived on a Sunday and there was not a lot open nearby. The building and rooms are absolutely amazing - the best on our trip in NZ, a 1900 building meticulously renovated and luxuriously appointed, extremely comfortable.

The Devon Hotel and Conference Centre boasts a buffet restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free use of mountain bikes. The property offers free on-site parking and free WiFi. De kamer was heel proper en voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. De gratis parking was zeker een pluspunt. De bar en het ontbijt waren goed. Centrum was voor ons net iets te ver om te wandelen maar de gratis fietsen hielpen hier zeker bij. De Uber richting centrum is ook maar $10 dus ook zeker een optie. Je kan ook zelf gratis je was doen.
