The people are almost as nice as the elephants, and I could not really understand what the elephants said about the boys that worked with them. The timing of porcessing may have said something. .

The 5-star boutique resort is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Included in the room rate, Le Palais offers free beer and wine from 9 AM to 9 PM daily during your stay. The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. Flawless. A perfect stay. The staff is amazing, the hotel is beautiful, food is fantastic. Rooms are comfortable, spa therapies are excellent. We really had a wonderful time at this wonderful hotel. But again, I have to say… the incredible staff makes a difference!

I’ve stayed in two bedroom apartment and the room was so nice, clean, modern, comfortable. You can enjoy river view at the balcony but location a bit far fews km from city center if you rent motorbike then no problem. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Heel mooie locatie aan de rivier , leuke individuele en zeer comfortabele bungalows , ijskast in de kamer.Sterke wifi.Het is zeer rustig in heel het resort. Het resort ligt nogal ver van de stad maar er is een shuttle bus die je op verschillende uren brengt en komt ophalen , dus dit is geen probleem.Heel vlotte communicatie via whatsapp. Ze hebben ook een gratis shuttle van/naar luchthaven. Alle medewekers zijn super attent en vriendelijk . Op zekere dag was ik een beetje ziek en de manager deed er meteen alles aan om te helpen , naar apotheek brengen , constant vragen of ik niets nodig had , en aangeboden om hem zelfs midden in de nacht te mogen storen indien ik me niet goed voelde. Echt iemand die voor zijn klanten zorgt 👍🏿 Voor ons echt een aanrader dit hotel !!!

This hotel is impressive, i was afraid after reading the bad reviews. But the place is clean, cheap option, the staff is so helpful. And on the top of it they have a cheap washing machine! It is true that they dont speak Enlgish, but its Asia, they speak Chinese and they will do anything to help you, despite the language barrier, actually with translator we could communicate without problem. So recommended 10/10
