From the second we arrived till we left the parking lot we felt nothing but overly welcome. The place is absolutely amazing. The staff even more so. We chose the accommodation for the clamping, we knew nothing about the town or area. Also this was a very pleasant surprise. It felt like we were the only tourists in the city and everyone, without exception, made us feel welcome. Dot Glamping in Ako might be the best surprise on our fantastic trip to Japan. The tent is huge, and although there is so much to see outside of the premises, it is well worth it not leaving, just enjoying the place. The private area is great too. We stayed two nights, and as we didn't have a car, we chose to include dinner in our order - do that, it is well worth it. The first night we got yakiniku which we grilled in the main building, the second night we got seafood which we grilled in our private area next to the tent, overlooking the ocean and sunsent. It is difficult to describe the welcome and feeling of staying at Dot Glamping in Ako, maybe the amazing staff just made it so much more, but I would travel to this place again. I can only recommend it. Nature is so close and is so beautiful in Ako!

Yumoto Ueyama Ryokan ligt in Himeji, op 15 km van Kasteel Himeji en 42 km van Omiya Hachiman Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis privéparkeren. My spouse and I loved that there were private family baths available. The meals were also incredible and gave us a real taste of Japan.

Met de taxi bent u in 5 minuten bij station Sannomiya en station Motomachi. The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

Koyado Enn ligt op 3 minuten lopen van het JR-station Kinosaki-Onsen en biedt warmwaterbronnen voor privégebruik, een café en een restaurant. Friendly staff, convenient location, large, comfortable room and lovely public bath.

Onishiya Suisyouen biedt prachtige warmwaterbaden, een sauna en een Japanse tuin naast de rivier de Maruyama. Ons verblijf was echt een verademing. Na enkele verblijfplaatsen met erg kleine verblijfplaatsen, was de ruime kamer in deze ryokan een waar plezier. Geen enkele moeite werd door het personeel gespaard om ons verblijf zou aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ook de maaltijden die we in de ryokan voorgeschoteld kregen waren erg verfijnd en overheerlijk.

Villa SCALA bevindt zich in Sumoto en beschikt over een hot tub. Deze accommodatie heeft een balkon, gratis privéparkeren en gratis WiFi.

新築オーシャンビュー離れ FLAG Awaji HANARE heeft een terras, en biedt accommodatie in Awaji met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de zee.
