We felt very welcoming from the beginning and the hosts were so lovely & helpful with everything. Accommodation was really lovely, well equipped and clean, as you can imagine it to be in old characteristic surroundings in Toscana. We all loved the swimming pool and beautiful gardens around.

Nestled in a tranquil, serene setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provides the ideal escape for those seeking peace and relaxation. The ambiance is both elegant and cozy, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dinner was a masterpiece, skillfully prepared with the finest ingredients. The absence of city noise added to the charm.

The staff were fantastic (warm, kind and professional), the accommodation gave a truly authentic whilst utterly charming Italian experience, the breakfast was superb; a new homemade cake each day, the quality of the products top notch, the eggs! And Mary makes wonderful cappuccinos. Mary, Matteo and Maria all provided excellent tips for our stay and Matteo was able to organise dinner for us at La Toppa on very short notice - equally outstanding experience and literally next door! There were small touches that pushed the hospitality over the top, like quality mini easter eggs readily accessible in beautiful glass jars and freshly made chocolate biscuits at hand next to the tea and coffee in the shared area.

Le Filigare Winery & Accomodation in Chianti is gelegen in San Donato in Poggio, op 16 km van Piazza Matteotti en 33 km van Piazza del Campo, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en... Wat een geweldige plek! Le Filigare ligt hoog in de Toscaanse heuvels en het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend – precies het idyllische plaatje dat je verwacht bij Toscane. Het is mooier dan de vakantiefolder. Het zwembad is prachtig gelegen en we hebben er uren genoten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreider dan je op basis van de reviews hieronder zou verwachten, met vers fruit, eieren, brood, croissantjes, taarten en iedere ochtend een cappuccino of latte macchiato die persoonlijk werd ingeschonken. Helemaal niets karigs aan! Het appartement was ruimer dan verwacht, met twee slaapkamers en alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij hadden het appartement Acero, vlak naast de ontbijtzaal. We deden ook de eenvoudige wijnproeverij van Le Filigare. Dat was een feest: goede sfeer, uitstekende wijnen en leuk contact met andere gasten. We hebben er leuk app-contact met een Australisch stel aan overgehouden en veel lol gehad. De prijs-kwaliteit van onze verblijf van 8 nachten in augustus 2025, vonden wij meer dan netjes. Tips: - Bezoek zeker de wijnproeverij op het terrein – absolute aanrader. - Vanuit Le Filigare ben je binnen korte tijd in Florence, Siena en San Gimignano. - In het dorpje San Donato vind je een paar uitstekende restaurants.

Terre di Baccio ligt op een heuvel in de Chianti-streek en wordt omgeven door een park van 20 hectare met olijfbomen en wijngaarden. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place! Best experience, staff and getaway. When you arrive, you immediately feel at peace at this beautiful resort. A perfect getaway that heals the soul. The staff was the best we’ve ever experienced - Marco, Ines, Daniela, Sabrina, just to name a few. They all went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, helping us with anything we needed and providing us with lots of laughs. They were very gracious, helpful, and giving. The wine tasting with Ines was a highlight. We spent hours chatting with her, enjoying delicious wine, cheese, bread and olive oil. She was absolutely amazing and we had a lot of fun. And bought wine to take home! The room was spacious and homey, with our own living room and kitchen to enjoy to ourselves. The restaurant provided delicious meals and nightly entertainment from Marco on the piano, creating a perfect and romantic ambience. An experience we will never forget and we will certainly be back!
