It is close to downtown but also close to walking trails. When contacting the owner with questions they were quick to answer. We had access to a washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen. We did not use the hot tub due to our schedule and some weather, but it was also available. Check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. This home was our base, and it was easy to travel to all the destinations we desired to visit without needing to repack and move to another location each night.

Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!
