I had a great stay at this beautiful accommodation. It’s located in a secure, gated complex with 24/7 security, which gave me a real sense of comfort and peace of mind. As part of the residential complex, guests have access to excellent shared facilities, including a gym, a swimming pool, and even a large indoor hall where people play sports like badminton and more. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful touch of having essentials already available – things like salt, laundry detergent, and other small necessities that make a big difference when you’re staying somewhere for a few days or longer. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Bonheur at Karambunai is gelegen in Kota Kinabalu, op een paar minuten lopen van Karambunai Beach en 29 km van Filipino Market Sabah, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang... Prachtige plek zo aan de zee! Wel in 'the middle of nowhere' dus hadden voor ieder boodschapje een grab nodig. Het gehele resort ziet er wat verouderd uit. Zeker zo'n 10 zwerfhonden lopen over het terrein. De buitendouche was fijn en ook het zwembadje hebben we van genoten. Fijne ligstoelen. Keukeninventaris is wat krap: 3 mokken, 3 vorken, verder overal precies 4 van. Nathan was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Reageerde snel op een berichtje en kwam bijna dagelijks langs met een kadootje. Om de dag werd er schoongemaakt. Mooie plek maar ook flink prijzig!

Het Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa ligt aan de kust van Borneo op het eiland Gaya en beschikt over ruime villa's met een eigen balkon. Het resort beschikt over een buitenzwembad en 3 eetgelegenheden. I remember reading a review that said that they treat you like roalty, and that’s what it definitely felt like. It’s a beautiful oasis outside a short boat trip from Kota Kinabalu. The resort itself was very beatiful and the villas in the jungle. They gave you a buggy ride everytime to the main building and back if you wanted, but sometimes it was nice to walk too back to the villa. Every staff member was beyond friendly and ready to serve. Restaurants food was good and it was very convienient that you just ate at the restaurant and paid the bill in the end of the stay, snd the bill wasn’t as bad as I would have thought. They gave us these little gifts every day which was a really nice touch (bamboo starws, hand fans and sarongs). It was a pleasant surprise that we had wifi in the room, because I read that there would not be. I think it had some kind of data restriction though, because it stopped working after 2 days but we didn’t mind. We were travelling on off-season, so there weren’t many people there besides us. It was nice to have the whole beach almost only to us. I can’t recommend this place enough!

De host is erg vriendelijk en reageert snel. Het is dicht bij restaurants en winkels, 10 minuten lopen ongeveer. De ruimte is groot en het bed was prima. Er zijn een zwembad en gym aanwezig, dus ideaal als je even een paar dagen niks wilt doen. Om deze reden hebben we dan ook, ondanks andere klachten, bijgeboekt.

Really sleep well, spacious and beautiful river view from balcony. Very comfortable stay. Will come back!!

Hawun Valley Kiulu heeft een hot tub en accommodatie met airconditioning in Tamparuli, op 39 km van Filipino Market Sabah, 34 km van Likas City Mosque en 39 km van Sabah State Museum & Heritage... Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.
