Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

She was always quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation itself was very good, but Jorlanda truly made the whole experience special. She’s a star!

We loved our stay, everything was fantastic, the view from the balcony, the location by the beach and friendly staff.

Bij aankomst werden we verrast met een gratis upgrade naar een ruime kamer met terras aan zeezijde. De auto mochten we op de stoep zetten. Het ontbijt was fantastisch. Je kunt het niet zo gek bedenken of het was er! Zeer uitgebreid. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. We mochten ook laat uitchecken.
