The property was very well taken care of and it has a great location on the island. Our unit was clean, had everything we needed, and the living space and bedrooms were comfy. All the air conditioning units worked well. We felt that our stay was a great value.

Het Belizean Shores Resort ligt aan het Caraïbische strand en biedt een grote tuin, een groot zonneterras met een zwembad, een houten lounge en restaurant, en weelderige suites. Incredible experience from the point of booking even to checking out. I loved the communication via whatsapp, staff were on hand 24/7 for anything we needed and were so responsive. The rooms were beautifully kept and cleaned and gorgeous views from the resort. Much quieter than the sister resort next door.

This property is located on the coast of Ambergis Caye and offers guests 2 outdoor swimming pools, on-site restaurants and sports facilities. The location, the resort, the staff, the pools and our room were all excellent.

Absolutely loved our cosy cabin at Matachica. Fairy tale arrival by speed boat with drinks awaiting us was an amazing start to the holiday. The resort is quiet, stylish and very tastefully decorated. It never felt busy even though i think it was over half full. The food was amazing! The chef knows what they're doing - fantastic bread and breakfast pastries but every meal was delicious. However, what made our trip were the staff - everyone was so kind and willing to help in any possible way. We had problems with our air conditioning unit and after an initial fix failed they replaced the whole unit whilst giving we the option to change rooms if we wanted (we didn't - we were too settled) Lovely people but i also found that generally true of Belize. Thank you so much. Do try the trips - we borrowed a kayak to go to the reef across from the hotel and snorkel with sting rays but also did organised Hol Chan trip including swimming with nurse sharks which was fabulous.
