Dickman resort is a real gem in Negombo. Beautifully designed garden and amazing rooms. We stayed in the Mango suite which was absolutely the nicest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka. (all rooms have different themes) Biggest, most comfortable bed, coffee machine, large TV with movie channel, lovely shower and good wifi... The pool outside the door was lovely and the sunbeds comfortable. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and very service minded. The breakfast is not good. 100 m away was the beach promenade with all the hustle and bustle, but at the resort it was quiet and nice. We will choose this hotel more times.

I had a wonderful time staying at 3R Resort by Blue Bird in Negombo. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it super relaxing and convenient. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. One of the highlights for me was the swimming pool—it was refreshing and a great spot to unwind after a hot day. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was truly impressive! They offered a mix of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, and everything was fresh and tasty. From hoppers and curries to eggs and toast, there was something for everyone. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway in Negombo with great food, a pool, and lovely service.

The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Details that were thoughtful and well thought out. 2 comfy reading chairs with a small table and lamp, a large room, private and quiet. A welcome drink, freshly squeezed orange juice A light above the mirror in the bathroom Free tea & coffee in the room A TV, the remote control was sterile and covered. A lovely packed breakfast and help onto the bus with my luggage. I couldn't ask for more. It felt safe, very clean, and homely. Ideal for a solo traveller
