Perfect relaxing and calm stay. I felt like I was in old good Bali, like a few decades ago. The room I stayed had everything I needed, including AC, unlike my expectation. Ha-ha. The cappuccino at Amrita Cafe was very good. Highly recommend!

I just stayed at Astha Bamboo House in Sidemen, Bali, and wow—what a gem! This eco-friendly bamboo villa is pure magic, tucked away in lush rice fields with Mount Agung views. The private one-bedroom villa was cozy yet airy, with a comfy king bed, hot shower, and poolside table perfect for morning coffee. The heated pool and hot spring bath were heavenly after trekking nearby trails. Breakfast was fresh and delicious—think tropical fruits and Balinese pancakes. We even got a complimentary floating breakfast. The hosts were so warm, and the vibe was peaceful, far from Bali’s hustle. Only tip: rent a scooter for exploring. Stayed 2 nights in September 2025, would return in a heartbeat!

Service was impeccable and everything was as per pictures. Excided my expectations, the place was romantic, amazing design, very quite and we had an exceptional time there. Breakfast was good, but could be more "rich", for example fruit was not included and you can order with extra charge. This is the only thing that disappointed me in a very beautiful and perfect location.

The breakfast was out of this world. The best banana pancake I've ever had. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. I was feeling unwell so I spent most of my stay in bed. It's on the outskirts of sidemen so you'll need a scooter or driver to get around. But there are a couple little warungs at walking distance.

We stayed at five different locations in Bali during our trip and this stay was the highlight.Thoroughly enjoyed every minute there.We arrived two hours before the check in time so we were greeted with welcome drinks at reception and also did our lunch there at the restaurant with a breathtaking view during the waiting time.They checked us in at three and it was raining heavily. Stunning scenes of valley. Rain stopped at around six and sky was totally clear and the evening and night all super amazing. I read the comments about bugs and staff also did some work to prevent bugs from coming inside the room but honestly we didn’t bother about bugs at all and enjoyed the whole time there. and also had a nice sleep.Then came the morning and it was amazing all around.The presentation of food we ordered in room was super nice and food wasn’t bad either. We stayed at the pyramid and it was awesome. Five stars to the whole staff. The villa looks better than the pictures.
