Everything about MeAndYou-HammamEtSpa was exceptional! The host was very kind to let us check-in a bit earlier. Because it was a special occasion for us, for a modest fee of 50€, he arranged flowers, chocolates and decorated the room. He walked us through how everything in the house had to be operated. Finally, he continued to remain responsive and reachable via phone and WhatsApp during our stay. As for the accommodation, it was amazing - super-comfortable beds, extra-large sofas and the best part - a grand jacuzzi! Everything that you would find in the house has been very well thought of. There is enough room for extra guests just in case, the lightings were soft on the eyes, TV provided not just in the living room but also where the jacuzzi was, dehumidifier to let the steam get out once we were done with hammam, etc. Every Euro spent for this accommodation was worth it! Les Ecrins is absolutely worth a recommendation. The house itself is a beautifully restored villa from 1900. The interior decoration is beautifully done and very tasteful. Our room was spacious and although it was at the front of the building, traffic noise was hardly noticable. If you're an extremely light sleeper, you might want to ask for a room that's not at the front. Breakfast is served in one of the rooms at ground floor, where a woodfire is burning in the morning. Breakfast itself is more than plentyful and consists of croissants, bread and cake with an assortment of self-make jams and honey, cheeses, ham, yoghurt, apple juise and coffee. It's really more than enough to start your day in the best possible way. Both hosts are extremely friendly and helpful; they make staying at Les Ecris very enjoyable.
