PortugalAdel always has a very easy and honest smile, just like his entire family.
Their 8 year old daughter Nour took us to see the sunset and was very friendly with us and their 12 year old son showed us how to fish in Lake Nasser.
Adel was very helpful throughout our stay of just 1 day, keeping us company and giving us valuable tips about shops and activities, about the Nubian people and their homes.
He also took us to lunch at a very beautiful restaurant, with Nubian architecture, full of art, where we had one of the best meals in Egypt (beef tajine) with portions suitable for Europeans and the staff was attentive and friendly.
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to see the sunset or sunrise on Adel's boat, but we recommend this activity to all tourists because Lake Nasser, the surrounding nature and the temples have a unique beauty seen from the water.
Adel's house is clean and fragrant, the room is spacious and comfortable.
The patio is very relaxing at any time of the day, which makes drinking mint tea, smelling the roses or simply listening to the birds almost a sacred moment.
