Buccara Noetzie - Craighross Castle is perched along the stunning Noetzie coastline on South Africa’s Garden Route and is part of the exclusive Buccara Noetzie Knysna Castles collection. This self-catering castle offers complete privacy, breathtaking ocean views, and timeless luxury. Freelance chef services are available on request (subject to availability) and can be arranged prior to arrival. Please note that there are no on-site shops or restaurants; all necessary supplies can be purchased in Knysna, just 13 minutes away. Please note that there is no parking directly at Craighross Castle. Guests may use limited parking at the neighboring castle, or alternatively, at the public Noetzie parking area, which is approximately 100 meters away. Guests will need to carry their luggage along the beach to the castle and navigate over a few rocks. We recommend confirming parking availability with reservations in advance to ensure a smooth arrival. Ideal for family retreats, special celebrations, or a tranquil getaway.

The area between Knysna & Plettenberg Bay is nature’s playground. In addition to scenic drives, boat trips on the Knysna lagoon & beautiful forest and coastal walks, there are several superb wildlife reserves and sanctuaries – perfect for children & adults alike.

Unfortunately, Craighross Castle is unable to accommodate bookings for student parties or school leavers ('Matric Rage'). Any such bookings will be cancelled, with no refund given. The property apologizes for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately, parking at the castle is currently unavailable due to recent storms. However, parking is available at the adjacent Castle, subject to availability. Guests can access the castle by taking a scenic walk along the beach from the neighboring Pezula Castle. The walk is approximately 50 meters and takes about 5 minutes, requiring navigation over some exposed rocks.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
