Wawona is located entirely within Yosemite National Park, as it preceded the founding of the park as a national recreation area. It has approximately 160 year-round residents! A popular story claims Wawō'na was the Miwok word for "big tree", or for "hoot of the owl", a bird considered the sequoia trees' spiritual guardian. Elevation is more than 4000 feet, and is right off State Route 41, the main route to Yosemite Valley! The cabin has multiple smart TVs, modern kitchen appliances, great patio furniture, a BBQ grill, and more! Bedding/Bathroom configuration is as follows: Bedroom #1- King Bed with en suite Bathroom # 1 Bedroom #2- Queen Bed Bathroom # 2 - In the hallway between Bedroom # 1 and Bedroom # 2 Bedroom #3- Full Bed Living Room- One pullout sofa and one trundle bed (which provides 2 twin beds) This home is all on one level. Rental Agreement- Immediately after booking, the rental agreement displayed at checkout will be sent to you via text and email for E-signing. Kindly E-sign this within 48 hours to finalize your reservation. You will also need to upload a photo of the ID associated with the credit card on file. This is solely for fraud protection purposes. E-signing allows you to go straight to the property upon your arrival, instead of coming to our office to sign and get a key!
