A HOME IN MADEIRA, LDA. is a home rental management company that was born from the will to share our experience in tourist accommodation and services related with property management. We were born in Madeira island, we like to travel and meet people, and it is a great pleasure to help travellers to discover our island.

Nidia’s Place is an apartment in the upper floor of small urban building, ideal for families and groups up to six people. The accommodation is 221 m2 and comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen. The living room has a sofa-bed that can be used as extra bed. There is also a large terrace with barbecue and an outdoor parking area. It is equipped with air conditioning, dishwasher, washer, refrigerator, cooker, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay. Although the place is not very busy, there may be noise from traffic and people circulating on the street, which is mitigated by closing the windows. We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate. Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.

The house is near Machico city centre just 600 m from the sea and about 5 km from the airport. Within walking distance there are shops, supermarkets and attraction centres. A few kilometers away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and forest for nature lovers and hikers. Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, beach, surfing, fishing and other activities. The house has easy pedestrian access to city centre, bus stops near the building and is easy to drive from and to the major roads.
