We are Joy and Rutger, and since a couple of years we rent out a part of our beautiful home to share our excitement about our hometown with guests from all over the world. Since we both work full time, we are not always at home and we can’t always help you right away, so we have decided to work together with a local travel agent; Dionne, from Smiling Host. She is the best and will make sure you have an amazing stay.

Property information

Our studios were completely renovated early 2019 in order to meet all your wishes as a guest of our stay. We have used beautiful, sustainable materials with an eye for detail and with attention to the environment. With automatic LED lighting, smart radiator knobs, saving valves and extra floor and wall insulation, we try to limit emissions as much as possible. Based on previous feedback; we have added extra closet and wardrobe space, added extra hangers for towels in the bathroom and we bought new and more comfortable couches. Please note that you are staying in a part of our private home with small kids in the hart of Zandvoort. Know that these are old houses and even with all the added isolation during the renovation, hearing some noise from the homeowners, the busy street or from our neighbors is unavoidable. We will provide you with sealed earplugs if requested. We hope you have a wonderful time with us, and of course - a lot of Joy at the Beach.

Neighbourhood information

We live in a family friendly neighborhood at the heart of Zandvoort and on the main road. It's only 5 minutes walking from the beach, the city center and public transportation. The train will take you to Amsterdam in only 30 minutes.
