Il Kiostro Malta Holiday Home Rental, your vacation in Zurrieq, the south west coast of Malta. Sleeps 6 to 7 (3 bedrooms a baby bed is also available)). Il Kiostro is a historic 350 year old expertly converted Maltese farmhouse, retaining all its original features and charm. Stefano Zerafa, a Maltese academic of the 1800’s and the person who discovered the Maltese national plant "Widnet il-Bahar" lived in this house. This home is impeccably furnished to high standards. It houses 3 guest bedrooms all with an en-suite shower, a large hall with a sitting and a dining area, a picturesque authentic mill room that serves as living quarters, a beautiful pool area with a lovely sun terrace and garden and an internal yard which contains a herb garden. The feeling of the house and the whereabouts is exciting and tranquil and our guests will surely appreciate the efforts done by the current owners. Located in the village of ZURRIEQ, within walking distance of the village square, one will find all kind of shops and services.
Daniel and Clinton will be your hosts during your stay. We are very friendly and always ready to assist our customers in all their needs. Please forward us your arrival and departure details so that we will be able to make arrangements to greet you on arrival and show you the house and also to assist you during your departure.
Zurrieq is located 1.5 km away from the coast line. The closest beach (rocky) is on the promenade of the Zurrieq Valley. Close by attractions include the BLUE GROTTO where one could take a boat trip to visit the natural caves, Hagar Qim Temples, Mnajdra temples, Hal Saflieni temples and the underground Hypogeum (advance bookings are recommended for the Hypogeum). Valletta the capital city is just a 20 minutes drive away. The nearest stop to the public transport is within walking distance.
