Taourirt Kasbah was built in the 17th century by the tribe of Glaoui. It is famous thanks to his seniority. Indeed, it was one of the first great Berber architectures built! The Kasbah was long the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech, a high official of the Moroccan monarchy.
