Company information

Maruni Ryokan is run by a family of two couples and two grandparents. The director, Hoshiro, used to be the headmaster of the Happo One Ski School. He is also a mountain guide, so please feel free to ask him about skiing and the mountains. The chatty proprietress and young master Shuichiro are mainly in charge of customer service. The only one who speaks a little English is the young proprietress Shino. Thank you very much!

Hakuba Happo Onsen Maruni Ryokan is very conveniently located in Hakuba Village, 2 km from Hakuba Train Station, a 5-minute walk from Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal and a 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort. The public bath on the ground floor is a natural hot spring. The traditional Japanese-style rooms all have air conditioning, a private bath and private toilet. Maruni Ryokan have a shared lounge, free WiFi, ski equipment storage and a boot drying room. All rooms in the building are non-smoking. Guests at Maruni Ryokan can enjoy a daily home-cooked Hakuba breakfast every morning. Guests can enjoy skiing in winter and trekking in summer in Hakuba village.
