Tuscan farmhouse apartments with pool near Chianti

Podere Vigliano offers free parking, a swimming pool and outdoor terraces overlooking the hills and valley. Just outside the pretty town of Tavarnelle Val Di Pesa, this former farmhouse has a quiet countryside location. Free WiFi is provided at the property. Surrounded by a large garden of olive groves and woods, Podere Vigliano dates back to the early 1800s. It now offers Tuscan style apartments, each with a private entrance, living room and fully equipped cooking facilities. There are 2 outdoor terraces, one with a view of the hills and the other overlooking the swimming pool, which is open between May and October. Free parking is provided and there is a bus that runs from Tavarnelle to Florence, 30 km away. Sienna is 40 km away. Pasta classes are arranged on site. You will find a supermarket 900 metres away. The surrounding area is famous for its festivals, cultural events, food and wine. You can visit vineyards of the Chianti wine district.

I remember an old country house, where, when I was a child, I used to spend my summer holidays with my family. The calm, the colours, the scents and flavours of nature of that times are still vivid in my mind and remain among the most beautiful memories of my childhood. Today, that country house has become Podere Vigliano. After a scrupulous renovation, considering the origins and the nature that surrounds it, what makes Podere Vigliano a very special place, are still that quite, those colours, scents and flavours of one of the places considered among the most beautiful in the world: the Chianti hills. During your stay there will be plenty of activities and numerous places to discover and experience to enrich your Chianti experience. Increase your knowledge by visiting fascinating historical centres such as the cities of Florence and Siena or smaller villages such as Badia a Passignano, Montefioralle, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni; Explore the testimonies of the past while having fun, for example by visiting Archeodromo, an archaeological site just a few kilometres from the Podere. Discovering the flavours of an area rich in an enormous food and wine heritage by visiting the many local farms and through cookery courses to have fun with the whole family. Living in contact with nature through dedicated trekking routes or through walks in silence surrounded by the colours of our countryside.
