CASA 'LA LUMINARIA' An authentic and unique location nestled in the historic center of a quiet ancient village awarded as 'Jewel of Italy' in 2013. ( Specchia ) The building, once a bakery, has been expertly renovated with natural and sustainable materials following the typical Salento building tradition. Casa La Luminaria is made by an elegant apartment where every detail has been lovingly cared for to offer every comfort and a unique experience of the typical life of Salento villages.
Beatrice and Stefano moved to Salento some years ago, where they decided to settle permanently after a life of work travelling around the world. They love to share the typical Salento values with their guests, such as the great beauty of the surroundings, art, genuine food, authentic nature and a thousand-years-old popular traditions of the area. The name, La Luminaria is inspired by the traditional lights used during the many festivals hold in the area, that create a unique joyful experience.
