Noventa di Piave rises on Piave’s left side, the “River of Italians”, with enormous charm specific for this exact location: 2 kilometers of walking paths, the “boats bridge” and the memorials dedicated to Ernest Hemingway and Great War. In this small town, a point of reference for art and culture, it is possible to visit the Municipal Museum to admire archeological antiquities, artefacts and two beautiful roman mosaics. The antiquities were found in the archeological site of San Mauro with religious monuments of Middle Ages founded in the place with two original settlements referring to Late Antiquity (IV century B.C.) and one more referring to Roman times (I century a.C). Do not miss to visit San Mauro church with an evocative fresco of Tiburzio Donadon and town center surrounded with villas built by the patricians of Most Serene Republic of Venice."
