My villa is perfectly located: near the sea-100 meters- and yet with an amazing view to Finikas village, the Aegean sea and the sunset. Its main asset is its huge veranda where you can lay on the beach chairs , relax and have a drink contemplating the view, have dinner or lunch on its exterior dinning table for 10-12 people, lay on a hammock or have a barbecue or even an exterior shower! Kitchen is perfectly equipped -as I like cooking myself -and has of course a dish washer, stove, oven ,microwave, mixers etc The decoration is a mix of traditional (antiques) and modern , reflecting simplicity, minimal and color matching. In all rooms, windows have shutters, if someone doesn't like light when slipping, there are numerous lights exteriorly and at the garden which is 4000 sq meters, cared by a gardener. The house was made initially for the family and thus made from top materials, always having in mind to satisfy all needs during a short or a long stay of at least 10-12 people.

Hosting is an art of hospitality, someone has to be in another one's shoes and think in advance what his needs would be. I always inspect the house thoroughly as if I am the guest staying in with my family because the house reflects one's character after all. I love to travel and see new things, I adore the sea and that is why my house is so close, so when I am at my vacation house I can wake up in the morning, put my swimsuit and go down the path to the sea for a quick hello to this transparent water . Syros is the perfect cycladic island, with great history, not too crowded, authentic , noble, with beautiful architecture and people and it represent me a 100%

Finikas village is one of the oldest village of Syros ang got its name from the Phoenicians who had their harbor there as it is a natural refuge. It is well protected from winds and has a small port for sailboats and small yachts. It has shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarket, pharmacy , bakery and meat shop. It has a long beach with ombrellas and many small creeks as the one near the house, called 'Kokkina' which means Red (color) as the color of the soil is reddish. Main town, Ermoupolis (town of Hermes) is only 15 min by car or by bus living the main road of Finikas: there you can visit museums, the famous townhall, the region of Vaporia , the church of St Nicolas, shops and many cafes and restaurants
