Porto Kalyves seaside apartments promise you a unique stay, combining both traditional and modern elements of Greek hospitality, run by Ioanna’s & Panagiotis, who are always nearby to assist in anyway possible. Located in a serene spot overlooking the Souda Bay, the views are stunning and sure to bring calm and relaxation, with the beach only a stone’s throw away. Located directly below the apartments is Cactus, a trendy cafe and bistro bar also run by Ioanna and Panagiotis. Whether it’s a good quality coffee and breakfast or a nice cocktail and dinner you’re after, Cactus is the perfect spot overlooking the sea and Souda Bay. Cactus has become a hotspot for locals as well as tourists yet maintains its friendly, calm and cozy atmosphere.
The picturesque village of Kalyves -most part of which is literally built near the beach- is located 17 km east of the town of Chania and has 1289 residents. The village belongs to the prefecture of Chania and specifically to the province of Vamos. On the south of the village there is the famous mountain range Lefka Ori at an altitude of 2,452 m.
