Katoikia Spathi-KEA is a traditional holiday house to rent, providing accommodation to up to 5ps. Located in Spathi area, a north east unspoiled bay of Kea, only 5 min, by car, from the sea, offers tranquility, isolation and superb view on the Aegean. One hour away of port Lavrio, with up to 4/5 boats per day the high season, two hours away from Athens and Athens international airport, Kea is a hidden paradise. The Katoikia Spathi is 16km away from the port, via a nice road of which the last 2km before reaching the house, is unpaved. The beach of Spathi is another 2km away from the house, via an also dirt road poorly maintained. It should be noted that many roads are still likewise in Kea for access to the beaches, mainly to the east ones. So, we STRONGLY recommend our guests during their stay in Katoikia Spathi to rent a car in order to enjoy their holidays and circulate around the island. For access to Katoikia Spathi and for visiting the island, a car type of jeep/ SUV,high cross/4x4 is NECESSARY and NEEDED.. For July/August it is NECESSARY to make a car rent reservation well in ADVANCE ,before arriving. Booking in advance passengers seats for the boat, from port Lavrio to Kea ,is recommended as well as for a car, ESPECIALLY during high season period (July/August). Ticket fare is about 14 Euros/person and 35-50Euros/car, according to the type of vehicle.
