George's House is located in the square of village Zakros. It is an apartment with a sun terrace, a balcony and free Wi-Fi. The beaches of Kato Zakros and Xirokambos are 8 km away. and 10 km. respectively. The accommodation is air-conditioned and includes a kitchen. It also offers self-catering facilities, as well as towels and bed linen.
Manos and Eleni are from Sitia. We both work in hospitality and tourist services as we are the owners of several villas and apartments. Our programs are art based and we feel very lucky to be doing this kind of work. We are creative types with a great love for our family, friends and community. Eleni likes fashion, decoration and travel. Manos really enjoys the city of Sitia with his bicycle and all that it offers.This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a new, beautiful, clean, safe, affordable one bedroom apartment .
Zakros is built on the slopes of the two hills, it is an inland village on the eastern side of Crete, surrounded by a luxurious olive grove with 700 inhabitants. is the only apartment in a two-story building. The landscape is characterized by rich vegetation due to the numerous sources in the area, while watermills were built on some of them. A few meters walk from the house you can visit the "Water Museum" in the restored watermills and the largest source in Zakros called "Mesa Milos", reaching the sea through a water trail created in thousands of years by its power water. Visitors have the opportunity to admire places of unique beauty and archaeological significance, to enjoy the crysta sea village of Xerokampos at a distance of 10 km, The seaside village of Kato Zakros at a distance of 10 km, The long sandy beach of Kouremenos at 17 km the "skiing result" some of the best wind statistics in the world, the palm forest "Vai" , the Minoan Palace of Zakros and many other beaches throughout the region The E4 European Walking Path in Crete is 320 km in total, starting from the Kastelli-Kissamos area in Chania to the west of the island and ending at Kato Zakros, outside the path.
