“Staying in the windmill was a totally unique experience. The view is amazing, and it's so quite and peaceful there. We were offered a free transfer from the port, and there was lots of bottled water, coffee, tea, etc. available when we arrived....”

Anastasia's windmill is a building of 1860 been renovated in 1990 by the owner Anastasia and family. It was inherited to her by her grandfather who was a miller.
It was operating until the end of the second world war. The bulding is unique furnished with antiques and it is decorated in a traditional way.
It is surrounded by a 1000sqm garden full of cactus and local plants.
It has a panoramic view of the whole island and the other islands nearby.
The sunset is breath taking due to the windmill position.
On the same terrace there is also the studio which used to be the donkey's house
when the windmill was in use. The view from the studio is the same one with that of the windmill.
The windmill for me is everything!
I love the place which used to be my family's summer house before having decided
to let it ten years ago.
I am a chemist studied in England but I really enjoy having clients from all over the world and exchanging ideas with them.
I love gardening and I take care of the garden myself.
I also love my cat " Colombus" who I think is in love with me!
The windmill is located in Tripiti where the Venus statue of Milos was found.
In Tripiti there is also the ancient theater and the famous Catacombs.
The neighbourhood of the windmills starts only a few meters away of the village houses. It is a very quiet place as the road stops there .
I remember as a child going there for a day excursion with the school.
