Neighbourhood information

The Hide is perfectly positioned between Deal High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and the lovely long seafront promenade and pier. For guests who prefer country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown and St Margaret’s Bay. Golfers are spoilt for choice with a number of championship golf courses. The house is ideally located in the centre of Deal, so you shouldn't need a car once you arrive, unless you plan to visit other nearby areas. Although these can all be reached by public transport too. The house is just a short 5-10 minute walk from the nearest train station (Deal) where you can get from London St Pancras in under 1 hour 30 minutes.
