Less than a 10 minute walk from Skegness’ pier and beach we are still close to all the local amenities including the Embassy Theatre, Natureland, Pleasure beach, Skegness Pier and Skegness Aquarium. There is free on-street parking on Scarbrough Avenue. Free Wi-Fi access, a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a selection of toiletries are provided in each room. Full English breakfast is served in the traditionally furnished dining room. Communal room for guests and Lounge with free pool table available during daytime hours. Restaurants and bars are within 100 metres of The Craigside. Skegness Rail Station is just a 5-minute walk away.

Company information

Myself and my Wife run the Guesthouse, with the help of our family during busy periods. We have 2 children of our own, so we know what families expect to see on holiday. We live on site, so we really are opening up our home to guests. We hope to make guests feel welcomed and feel like this is a home from home, rather than a hotel. We believe this is why many guests return to us each year.

Property information

We are a family run guesthouse and aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have an inviting resident’s lounge with pool table and games for children. Our large communal room has a number of fish tanks with tropical fish for a relaxing atmosphere. We have a bookshelf with books available for guests and a dart board for those budding Phil Taylors out there to enjoy. We welcome family groups with children of all ages, family rooms are available. We can offer travel cots and high chairs on request. Unfortunately, we do not accommodate stag or hen parties. Please contact us for further information.

Neighbourhood information

The Guesthouse is located on a quiet tree lined avenue and close to St Matthews Church. We are still close to all the local amenities, the Embassy Theatre, Natureland, Pleasure beach, Skegness Pier, Skegness Aquarium and the Seafront. All of which are within walking distance. Fantasy Island is a short bus ride or a 10 minute drive away.
