Welcome to the Sonas Guest House Edinburgh Sonas Guest House one of Edinburgh's best! A converted 19th century Victorian villa, built in the 1870's for the directors of the Railway. We provide excellent, comfortable accommodation and a warm, Scottish welcome to add to the wonderful heritage and history of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city. Sonas is an old Gaelic word for bliss and happiness. Rooms may not be as photos as they vary around the house and there are stairs - we do not have a lift. Please note, we DO NOT serve breakfast. We are a room ONLY basis.

Neighbourhood information

Newington is an area of Edinburgh, Scotland, about 15 to 20 minutes walk south of the city centre, the Royal Mile and Princes Street. It is the eastern most district of the area formerly covered by the Burgh Muir, gifted to the City by David I in the 12th Century
