The quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe, is always bustling with maritime activity. Between East and West Looe, you can take the river taxi, as well. It's easy to get lost in East Looe's small cobbled alleys, twisting passageways, and tourist shops, while West Looe provides a beautiful view of the harbour. Banjo Pier, the town's most prominent vantage point, can be accessed from the quay and offers stunning views of the harbour, fishing trawlers, and Looe Island, which, during low tides, is accessible by foot.
