Rye Hill Farm is now a small working farm, mainly sheep. The old farm buildings adjacent to the farm house have been renivated in to guest accommodation but with out loosing their original looks. Inside the building we have put in a shell to make modern rooms with upto date facilities for your convienence.
The veiws from the farm are spectacular, panoramic, as we are on top of a hill and can on a clear day see at least 50 miles to the north to the Cheviot Hills. At Rye Hill Farm there is the choice of B&B or our self catering cottage.
I am very much a country person and love to tend my sheep and garden, possibly with a few grandchildren in tow!
Rye Hill Farm is set in a wonderfully rural area. There are great walks down by Devils Water or up on Blanchland moor or in Slaley Forest. Some of these areas have good but rough mountain biking routes.
