Set in its own attractive grounds, The Kenbury is a family-run bed and breakfast close to the beach, town centre and local transport. It boasts friendly staff and a good breakfast. All rooms have a private bathroom with fluffy towels and Duck Island toiletries. They also come with tea/coffee making facilities. The bed and breakfast has a garden and a lounge in which guests can relax. The Kenbury bed and breakfast is just a 10-minute walk away from the train station, the bus station and the beach.

Company information

Our family bought the property in October 2018 and we've been working to improve the experience for our guests ever since. Paul and Annette have been running the property this date and we hope that we've continued improving things for our guests. We pride ourselves on being very friendly and welcoming and wherever we can we do our best to make sure that guests have the best stay possible.

Property information

The Kenbury has a comfortable, welcoming feel to it. It's a big old Victorian building, used to be a "gentleman's residence", but has been updated with all the modern amenities that guests expect, such as en-suite bathrooms, free WIFI, flat screen TVs, small fridges etc. It's set on a corner plot and has a small car park and garden and generally has a relaxing feel.

Neighbourhood information

Shanklin has, of course, got a great beach which is overlooked by cliffs providing fabulous views and walks. But the great thing about Shanklin is that there is also the "Old Village" and the local town, so it is much more than just the beach. The Old Village is full of thatched pubs, tea and gift shops and more local shops and restaurants can also be found in the town.
