“What wasn’t there to like? Dobby lodge had a very homely feel and despite being nearly 6 hours from home we didn’t feel as though we needed time to settle in. My daughters loved it who are both at different ages so catered for both their needs.”

We have been welcoming guests to this family owned park for over 30 years, our dedicated team take great pride in the care of the grounds and holiday homes. We have been awarded Four stars by the Quality in tourism board.

Property information

The Dobby Lodges are fantastic architect designed homes breaking all the rules of holiday lodge design. Contemporary design features such as floor to ceiling windows, oak flooring and cedar wood exterior shape the unique nature of this property.

Neighbourhood information

The twenty acre park is nestled into the hillside with panoramic views of Skiddaw and the Northern Fells, with easy access to the market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth; as well as the Solway Coast area of outstanding natural beauty. Our location is ideal for visiting the Northern Lake District which includes: Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and also the quieter Western Lakes of Ennerdale, Loweswater and Crummock. We are only 30 minutes drive from The Great Border City of Carlisle and Penrith, and within an hour you can reach Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere.
