Friendly, comfortable ground floor accommodation, both rooms with en-suite showers. We are just 3 miles from M6 2 miles from A6 & A66. Separate entrance with off road parking for 2 cars. WiFi is free and there are tea/coffee making facilities and a hair dryer in each room. Meadow View is open all year round.
We are active members of the local Ullswater Yacht Club and offer a discount for related bookings. With 5 year's experience we can offer a relaxed atmosphere whether you visit us on a business or pleasure trip.
The Queen's Head Inn is just a short walk away where excellent meals are available and real ales. We are perfectly situated for a holiday, weekend break or business trip in the Lake District. Ullswater is only 3 miles where you can board a steamer from Pooley Bridge for a cruise along the lake. The northern lakes are ideal for many activities such as water sports, walking and cycling on or off road. We are just 3 miles from Penrith where there are numerous other places to eat and drink. We advise booking ahead to secure a table and also to reserve a taxi as we are in a rural location where these facilities are not 'on tap'. Askham Hall, a popular wedding venue, is 3 miles from us and again taxis should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
