The Krumme See (Crooked Lake) is 500 meters away. The large Präßnicksee (Preßnick Lake) is 1.5 km away, with cycle paths amidst beautiful greenery. The nearest town is Joachimsthal, where there are two train stations. From there, you can reach the nearest larger cities, such as Eberwalde, Bernau, and Berlin.
