The Talmühle (valley mill), as she stands today, is a project of love, continually growing from the dreams of her owners, Ciera and Johannes. Built almost 300 years ago, the Talmühle has survived many different eras and has been used for many purposes. Once a flour mill, a guest house, a retreat location, a luxurious café, a restaurant, onetime empty and abandoned for years. It has stood through dark times and wars, was partially destroyed, expanded, renewed. Today we are always working toward the goal of making the mill a place of peace, rest, and beauty, with beautiful gardens and thoughtfully furnished rooms. It is our hope that your stay with us will be one you will want to repeat!
