We have built all the houses ourselves from mud; adobe, cob, plaster and rammed earth. Only one person helps us with the building. Each building has taken between one and four years to slowly design and build.
William is a jeweler, house builder and great host. He is from Manizales but has lived in Villa de Leyva for almost 20 years.
Mawasi Finca is located 6 km outside of town towards El Pozo de la Vieja. There are lovely calming gardens to enjoy and it is pleasant to stroll around the property or find a good place to read. Our neighbours are both local farmers and Bogota weekend homes.
