The Red Coat is a beautifully restored century home, circa 1901, nestled along the Niagara Escarpment, just a short drive down the beautiful Niagara River Parkway in charming historic Queenston. Featuring three beautifully appointed rooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and high-speed wireless internet. The Red Coat, located within the township of Niagara on the Lake, is centrally located between Shaw Theatres, shops, golf courses, Fallsview Casino, and Niagara Falls. Follow the Niagara Wine Trail to over thirty estate wineries offering tours and wine tasting. If you enjoy the outdoors, hike, jog or bike along one of the many trails including the Bruce trail which begins at the base of our driveway! Call directly for best price.
We love meeting people from all over the world. I enjoy baking and cooking various dishes for our family and guests.
Our property, like Niagara on the Lake, is rich in history and situated on the grounds of one of the important battles in Canadian history, the War of 1812. Our home is within walking distance to many National historic sites including: Laura Secord's homestead, The Mackenzie Printery, and The Brock Monument situated in the beautiful Queenston Heights Park. One can take a short walk down the street to the Niagara River and take in the beauty of the landscape.
