I am the CEO and manager of a womens residential program called Destiny Haven. I am passionate about helping women overcome the legacy of trauma and addictions and part of their recovery is to be involve in our thriving enterprises to gain employability skills. We take great pride in setting a beautiful scene for you to walk into and we know that our unique carriages and other units will delight couples, families and groups of friends.

Carriageway offers unique accommodation for couples, families or larger groups. Whether you stay in one of our original Red Rattler train carriages, in our family unit or in one of our Romantic Spa units, you will enjoy the relaxing rural atmosphere and the care taken to ensure that you have all you need.

Neighbourhood information

Carriageway is under NEW MANAGEMENT and is situated about 5 kms from Dungog. There is plenty to do for everyone in the Dungog region. The Shire lies to the south of the world heritage listed Barrington Tops, with numerous hiking trails, picnic spots, fishing holes and mountain biking trails a short drive away. With a vibrant arts & crafts scene plus beautiful heritage buildings, the township of Dungog offers lots to explore. Or take a scenic drive to some of Dungog’s other historic villages. Our friendly staff will be able to assist you with any information and the contacts you may require.
