Our cozy Zirbitzhütte, complete with sauna and fireplace, is located directly on the edge of the forest with a wonderful view of the mountains of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park at an altitude of 1050 meters. Hiking trails start in front of the house door and the snow-sure Grebenzen Skigebiet is just a few minutes away. On the spacious, partly covered terrace you can hear the rushing of the nearby mountain stream; nature-lovers will get their money's worth here! Spread over 3 floors and 120m2 and built from solid wood, our chalet has been constructed to the highest ecological standards. We have made special efforts to accommodate allergy sufferers and asthmatics with allergy-friendly mattresses, duvets and pillows etc. The wood-burning stove and gas heating allow the house to be enjoyed all year long. Please bring your own towels and bed linen. Tourist tax per person/day and a deposit is to be extra paid

Winter: The snow-sure Grebenzen Skigebiet is a few minutes away in St Lambrecht. With an altitude of 1000m-1900m, wintersport lovers will find everything they need: 25km pistes from blue to black for beginners to professionals, toboggan run, cross-country ski trails, snow-hiking routes and rustic mountain lodges to enjoy the occasional break! Further Ski-areas nearby: Kreischberg ca. 20km Lachtal:ca. 30km Turracher Höhe: ca. 50km Summer: Hiking begins at the house door with the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park with spectacular views of the 2400m Zirbitzkogel a must for every mountain-lover. Just 3km from the house you'll find the Auerlingsee, perfect for a refreshing swim or a day's relaxing fishing. Not far from the imposing Benediktinerstiftes (Benedictine monastery), founded in 1076, there is a solar heated outdoor pool with a wonderful mountain panorama.
