Nothando Backpackers Lodge is located only 500 metres from the Plettenberg Bay Central Business District, and 1 km from the Birds of Eden aviary. Plettenberg Bay Airport is 8 km away. This was one of my best hostel experiences anywhere in the world. The host went so far out of her way to help with recommendations and to ensure you have a perfect stay. Couldn't rate Nothando's highly enough. Definitely worth staying at if you're in Plettenberg Bay.

Located around 16 km from Lakes Area National Park, the hostel with free WiFi is also 18 km away from George Golf Club. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with! Beautiful location right next to the beach :)

All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The room was nice than I expected. You really don't need to leave because a restaurant, small store, and the beach are literally right there! If you don't want to swim in the big waves, a small calm lagoon is a short walk down the beach.

Could just hang out here all day, didn't want to leave. Affordable food (maybe add vegan option?) and well priced bar. Fully equipped kitchen to use. Fun events

Situated in Plettenberg Bay, 1.2 km from Lookout Beach, Amakaya Backpackers Travellers Accommodation features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. With free WiFi, this 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Everything was ok for the price. But the real kicker was the lady in charge, Debbie. She went above and beyond consistently to give me the best possible experience in Plettenberg Bay. There were some misunderstandings with management about the room pricing, which she handled admirably. Also, she gave me a lift when I really needed one, asking for nothing in return.

Guests are offered traditional African dishes in the restaurant of Tube 'n Axe Backpackers. Special diet menus and packed lunches can be requested. Guests of the hostel can use the free barbecue facilities on site. The outside hot tube, warm up with wood.. amazing! And the bar next to a nice evening fire! They give me a better room than the one I made the reservation!

I needed somewhere to work, very last minute and they exceeded my expectations with value for money, facilities, friendliness and safety. Thank you so much!

At the hostel, rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. The were so friendly and helpfull,just got out of hospital after a accident covered in blood and dirty,they let me in and they gave me towels and everything i needed, ten out of ten thanx

The staff were great. The location is slightly off the beaten track but you get an amazing view from the bar/restaurant. Definitely worth it, if you don’t mind getting a cab down for meals and activities. Excellent value for money.
