The units have a safety deposit box. The location is right next to the Train Station. It is truly for the backpacker. I met a varied and diverse set of people here. If only, I had more time to spend in Izmir. I know people who met here and combined plans and helped each other plan trips to each other's home countries. The location is amazing, the garden and the coop is truly a vibe. The kitchen is well equipped as well. The staff , the staff, the staff specifically the tall Kurdish Guy - sorry I forgot the name, was so kind to help me figure out transport and helped me in every way possible. Loved the people, vibe, location and the staff.

The bathroom is functional and separate bedroom has a comfortable bed, cute make up table and a wardrobe that we didn't use (a bit squeaky). Several windows for those who like the light and good curtains to keep the sun out in the mornings. The balcony is pretty big, surrounded by trees, with a table and chairs. It was nice to sit there in the evenings, as the days were too hot. Not the newest furniture, and there could be some improvements in the future, but still very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Garden: Calm and relaxed mornings with breakfast and a coffee in the garden by the pool. Shade and a breeze, flowers and trees, cats and playful kittens. Even a hedgehog! Some people wrote that the pool is small, but it is actually a good size and not all the guests are there all the time. After the beach, we would come there in the afternoon for a swim and rest. Location: The hotel is very close to the city center, shops, cafes and restaurants and in a few minutes you are practically there. Great walks, beautiful and kind people. We visited several beautiful beaches around, and they were approximately 10-20 minutes by car from the hotel. And yes, you can park your car around the hotel and almost everywhere in the area for free. Just find a suitable spot. Hotel hosts/employees: Thank you for being an animal friendly place and accepting our cat. She loved Turkey, but not the fellow cats unfortunately (too scared and too spoiled). Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality. We felt very welcomed, safe and like at home. The gentleman at the reception was very kind and simpatic. He gave us all the necessary information (about best beaches, wind conditions, parking…), answered all our questions patiently and is just a beautiful example of what a real host/concierge should be - natural, kind and normal. It is a lot in today's world.

The welcoming residence. Akan made us feel at home from the very first minute. A great breakfast every day. The perfect location. Just a few meters from the beach. In the old town, full of life, yet still so peaceful that you wouldn't even notice that just a few meters away there's a constant hustle and bustle.
