At the hostel, all rooms have a balcony with a city view. All rooms include a safety deposit box, while selected rooms also offer a patio. Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

The accommodation provides nightclub and room service. Really good atmosphere, fantastic staff. Owners are intimately involved and spend time ensuring everyone has a comfortable stay. They helped us with numerous things and were always incredibly helpful and very trustworthy :) Rooms are very clean and functional, each season there is constant improvements made, and it shows. Also, most importantly, the wifi is excellent and accessible from every inch of the property. Food is also awesome, chef used to be at a major restaurant in town and brings all of his experience with him!

There is a restaurant within the hostel area and they cook tasty food so you need to try for sure. Also the staff is amazing. I cannot rate the breakfast because of my early leaving. The breakfast offers continental, American or Asian options. At the hostel you will find a restaurant serving American and Nepalese cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Excellent place to stay - really great location. The double private room was very spacious and the staff were very welcoming. We weren't able to pay by credit card on their system but they sent the link and that worked well. Would recommend. Note that the hotel asked for a review but I would have given them this rating anyway
