Dorms were big with A/C, confortable beds with large locker. Big kitchen and super nice staff. There is a scooter rental place nearby.

The Well bevindt zich in Ahangama, op minder dan 1 km van Kabalana Beach en beschikt over een buitenzwembad, een tuin en uitzicht op het zwembad. Rustige locatie maar dichtbij het centrum. Mooie kamer. Prachtige badkamer. Aardig personeel. Mooi zwembad. Mooie yoga ruimte. Netjes/schoon. Tuin is goed bijgehouden. Chille vibe. Bij The Pink House kun je het lekkerste broodje halen van heel Ahangama.

Hostel Singha Lounge ligt in Unawatuna, op 2 km van Unawatuna Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een restaurant. EVERYTHING! The most beautiful owner and her gorgeous kids, made me feel at home straight away. The hostel is lovely, with yoga sessions and deliciiious meals available! Judith is a wonderful, kind, bubbly person who’s energy and hospitality made this hostel/homestay my favourite in the whole of Sri Lanka. The location is a good walk out of the centre (maybe 25 mins) , but grabs/tuktuks are cheap and available!

Tanty’s Hostel is ideaal gelegen in het centrum van Galle, en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. I stayed there for 2 nights in April 2025 and had a lovely time there. The beds are comfortable in a big dorm with individual ventilators, mosquito nets, and cupboards. In addition, there are many common facilities including a very big and fully equipped kitchen. At walking distance, there are restaurants, a beach, and a supermarket to get some groceries. Galle's station is 10 minutes away with PickMe/Uber. Highly recommend it.

TheLakeHostel ligt in Hikkaduwa, op 20 km van Galle International Cricket Stadium, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Amazing location, comfortable stay, super helpful people. I loved my stay there. They have canoes and bicycles for guests to use for free. It’s so beautiful to wake up in a forest next to a lake and canoe for thing in the morning. Morning view on the lake is magical, don’t miss it!

The owner and the staff were very good, friendly and professional. It was my first time as a solo traveler, so I was very satisfied with the service and the place.

Wake N Flow, Ahangama - Kabalana Beach bevindt zich in Ahangama, op 18 km van Galle International Cricket Stadium en 19 km van Galle Fort. one of the best stays on my Sri Lanka trip. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend

Hanuman Heights ligt in Unawatuna, op minder dan 1 km van Unawatuna Beach en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en uitzicht op de tuin. A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.

Oops is gelegen in Unawatuna en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een bar, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. A green, relaxed place with a hippie atmosphere. The rooms are simple but comfortable. A great place to relax and escape from the hustle of Unawatuna.
