Since the very beginning of my stay JP and his family made me feel like I was at home: from the breakfast every morning, free family dinners… I couldn’t ask for more!! You can take the free boat to cross the river . The boat is for free and is open from 10 to 10 cross the river or walk across/ride motorbike the old French bridge. It may be a bit inconvenient for some people. For me it is perfect location in the village where local people live in. Alms Giving is easy to witness along the streets in the morning and in a non-commercial way. - Staff: super friendly and helpful, speak English and offer travel directions, minivan booking to train station with fair price. - Nice breakfast, simple and western style. It would be great if there is soft drink/coffee/tea provided. - Quiet at night and wonder sunset view: there are large nice open spaces to connect with other guests) - Good wifi and general facilities.

I like tike the mini bar with balcony stick to the Nam Khan River, I guess only Funny Riverside Backpackers have it, I love the view and tanquility also beautiful sunrise from there, Good value of money for solo traveler, Very Recommended :)
