HI Calgary City Centre is located in East Village, right around the corner from downtown. Free coffee and tea is provided all day. The City Hall transit stop is 2 minutes away and offers free transport within the city center. Free WIFI is included. Please note that anyone is welcome to stay with a valid ID from outside of Calgary.
Shared bathrooms facilities are provided for dormitory guests. A 40" flat-screen cable TV, a desk and an ensuite bathroom are offered in the private guest rooms.
This has been my second time staying there, what gives an idea how much I liked it. Staff received me as an old friend that you have not seen for a long time. I just copy and paste what I put last time:
Breakfast was good, the location is right in the centre of Calgary. The place had everything that I needed and the staff was always helpful and willing to help.
Other services that were good to have available: phone to call (I did not have signal) and a pool table.

Great location in the south of the City. Easy access, good parking. Great (popular) pool, & linked pub on site which meant three choices of food for dinner! Public transport so easy to access. Used both Train & Bus, simple system & cheap. Heritage Park, which is an amazing facility easily accessible by bus. Best memories were of great service & friendliness of the staff at this hotel, exceptional!

What a great location! Many restaurants, markets, and downtown activities within walking distance. The underground parking was so helpful, as it's hard to park downtown sometimes. when we needed to drive, the car was handy, safe, and protected from the weather and from theft. Annette, the owner was communicative and responsive to our needs. We really liked her, so we wanted to take care of the place for her. It was like home away from home.

Great location, very close to the airport and with the transfer service to the airport. Also, you can leave your car there while you’re away for a small charge which is great. Rooms are spacious and will laid out and very sound proof which is important because you were so close to the airport.

Very nice hostel. Everything was clean, staff was super friendly, and the whole place has really nice and calm vibe, you can meet also cool people there. Also I felt very safe. If I will be back in Calgary I will definitely stay there. Thank you!
